How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads of the BMW 1 Series?

To replace the rear brake pads of the BMW 1 Series, lift the car with a jack or ramp so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground. Once the wheel is lifted, unscrew the bolts that secure the wheel and remove it completely. This will give you access to the brake caliper, unscrewing the bolts that secure it to the respective disc: then the pads inside can be extracted and replaced with new spare parts. After replacement, remount the caliper and the respective disc.
