How to Replace the Convertible Top Pump on a BMW Z4?

Model: BMW Z4 E85, E86 - Years 2002-2008

To replace the convertible top pump on a BMW Z4, remove the plastic covers that surround it, located at the back of the seats and inside the trunk. Once these covers are removed, loosen all the screws and disconnect all the connectors that secure the top to its housing. This will allow you to pull the mechanism out of its housing and remove the corresponding drive pump. The new pump can now be connected, and the entire mechanism can be reconnected and properly installed.
