Operation: How do you replace the soft top of the BMW Z4?

In order to replace the hood of the BMW Z4 it is necessary to loosen the screws that secure the rails of the opening and closing mechanism, located inside the luggage compartment. Next, you will need to open the protective covers on the back of the seats and loosen the screws underneath, near the speakers. Their removal, together with that of the screws on the upper parts of the uprights and the gasket, will allow the hood to be removed, unhooking the connectors. After removing the old soft top, it will be possible to replace it with a new spare part and check its operation.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
