If you want to replace the battery inside your BMW X7 smart key yourself, just follow this guide carefully and apply the steps described. First, remove the metal side part of the cover with your hands. Next, get a flathead screwdriver and use it to remove the battery holder. At this point, simply replace the old, exhausted battery with a new one (model CR 2032). Reassemble the various components, test the key's functionality, and you are finally done.
