Instructions for Removing Air Vents

Model: BMW Serie 7 MK 3, E38 - Years 1994-2001
Part: Air vents

To remove the air vents in the center of the console, start with the one located above, in the center of the dashboard: this way, you can access the back of the vents and press to facilitate their extraction. Then, detach the grille of the upper air vent by prying along the edges with a plastic tool (a credit card works well). Next, unscrew the mounting screws of the underlying duct and remove it. At this point, apply pressure to the back of the center vents while using the plastic tool to release the metal retaining tabs.
