In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the rear bumper on a BMW 7 Series E38, a very simple operation. Start by removing the bolt located inside the wheel well with a 8mm socket wrench, then remove the lower clip and repeat the process on the opposite side. Next, open the trunk and remove both the bottom panel and the plastic trim to access the three bumper mounting nuts. At this point, you can unscrew these with a 13mm wrench, grasp the bumper, and separate it from the frame. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
