How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to reset the service light on a BMW 3 Series, a very simple operation that should only be done after completing all scheduled maintenance work. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition; it is not necessary to start the engine. Next, press and hold the "BC" button located at the end of the left stalk until you enter the maintenance menu. At this point, use the directional arrows on the left stalk to scroll through the available services. Once you reach the service you want to reset, press and hold the "BC" button again.
