BMW Serie 3 - Video tutorial

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E91, E90 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Tail light
Operation: How to replace the rear bulb of the Bmw Serie 3 Coupe

To replace the rear light bulb on the Bmw Serie 3 Coupè, we start by opening the trunk, at the rear side of the lighthouse (in the left video), we find a carpet flap which we pull from the outside towards the passenger compartment; once the carpet cover has been removed, we find the various bulbs of the rear light, pull the white tab slightly upwards and extract the group of bulbs. Once the group of bulbs has been removed, identify the bulb to be changed, press it lightly and turn it anticlockwise, removing it; once the burnt out bulb has been removed, take the new bulb and insert it in the bulb holder by pressing it lightly and turning it slightly clockwise; now we can reinsert the bulb assembly until the white tab clicks, replace the rear light flap and close the trunk. Finally we can check the correct functioning of the changed bulb.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
