How to Replace the Timing Chain on a BMW 7 Series?

To replace the timing chain on a BMW 7 Series, open the hood to access the components inside the engine bay. First, remove the bolts securing some components at the front of the bay, such as the radiator and alternator, to completely remove them. Once these parts are removed, loosen the nuts securing the sprockets and the tensioner, reducing the tension on the chain and removing it from its housing. After the piece is removed, install the new one, reassembling all previously removed parts.
