In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the cabin filter on a BMW 5 Series by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is purchase a new cabin air filter from an authorized dealer; next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the car, and engage the parking brake. The cabin filter in this vehicle is located in the upper left part of the engine compartment, under the windshield; lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod; unscrew the fastening elements from the filter cover using a 13mm socket wrench; detach the clips from the filter box cover, loosen the connectors from the climate control sensors, remove the cover of the filter box, and take out the filter element, then replace it with a new one, following the arrow markings on the filter itself.
