How to reset the adaptive gearbox in the BMW 3 Series?

In this tutorial we can see how to reset the adaptive automatic transmission in the BMW 3 Series, a very simple procedure to be carried out, for example, in case of change of ownership or abnormal behavior. To do this, first of all we insert the key and turn on the instrument panel, then we press the accelerator pedal all the way down for 60 seconds. Once this time has elapsed, we release the pedal and start the vehicle. If the operation has been successful, all data related to the use and management of the automatic transmission will have been reset and will be reprocessed in the following kilometers traveled.
