This guide shows how to remove the transmission case from the BMW 3 Series, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the fastening bolts of the metal supports located under the transmission case; then unscrew the bolts securing the driveshaft support, as shown in the video. Now disconnect the oil line and drain the oil; then unscrew the bolts of the transmission case, separating it from the engine, and disconnect the electrical connector to remove the transmission.
