Service Light Reset Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E90, E91 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Service warning light

If the SERVICE warning light comes on the display when starting the engine, it means it's time for maintenance, either due to reaching the mileage limit or the time interval. After performing regular maintenance, reset the lights manually using the trip reset button and the controls on the turn signal lever. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, press and hold the trip reset button for at least three seconds until the red car symbol appears on the display, indicating that you have entered the maintenance menu. You can scroll through the options using the button on the center of the turn signal lever and reset them by pressing the side button marked BC.
