These short and simple steps will illustrate the procedure for resetting the service maintenance light for the oil change in the BMW 3 Series. First, we get into the car and start the engine; then we use the controls on the steering wheel to scroll through the menu on the onboard computer until we reach the oil change (service) option, as shown in the video.

At this point, we confirm and perform the reset of the service light, until the warning light is completely reset; the warning will change from yellow to green.
