Replacing the Fuel Tank Vent Valve

Model: BMW Serie 7 E68, E65, MK 4, E67, E66 - Years 2001-2008
Part: Engine

Due to the temperature and turbulence created in the tank, it is clear that an increase in pressure tends to occur inside, which must be vented somehow. In the engine compartment, near the throttle body, the vent valve is located. Any malfunction is promptly indicated on the instrument cluster by the check engine light (the reference trouble code is P0444). Replacing this valve is very simple; just open the hood, remove the plastic covers, disconnect the connector and the hoses to remove it.
