To replace the throttle body on a BMW 3 Series, open the hood and access the engine compartment, specifically at the rear of the engine block. The throttle body is located between the intake manifold and the air filter; therefore, it can be removed from its housing by unscrewing all the bolts and screws and disconnecting the connectors. Once the part is freed, you can extract it from its housing and replace it with a new replacement part, which should be properly inserted and secured.
