Replacing the Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Fuse

Model: BMW Serie 7 E68, E65, MK 4, E67, E66 - Years 2001-2008
Part: Pump

If you find that when pressing the ignition button the starter motor turns but the engine does not start, a possible cause could be the lack of fuel supply due to a malfunction of the low-pressure pump, the one submerged in the tank; however, before assuming the worst, which is a complete pump failure, ensure that it is powered, meaning that the corresponding protection fuse has not blown. Therefore, open the rear hood and remove the side cover panel: inside you will find the fuse legend, and at position 75 is the 20 A fuse for the fuel pump; replace it with one of the same capacity and start the engine.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
