How to Reset the Maintenance Light (Dashboard Computer Reset)

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

To reset the mileage indicator on the dashboard computer for scheduling the next maintenance service, follow these steps. Turn the ignition key to the start position to power on the instrument cluster. Press the button located on the left side of the speedometer, and simultaneously move the switch on the headlight lever until the service symbol appears on the display. To reset, press the button marked "BC" also located on the headlight lever. Turn the key to the off position, then turn the instrument cluster back on and check that the indicator shows 00.
