How to Replace the Battery in a BMW Remote Key

For all BMW models equipped with a remote key featuring comfort access, where the mechanical key (called the blade) is stored inside the remote itself and is only used when the vehicle's battery or the remote's battery is dead, replacing the latter is extremely simple. Just extract the blade and locate the slot to lever off the cover of the battery compartment (CR2032 model), then remove the old battery and insert the new one, ensuring the correct polarity, and finally reattach the cover and the blade.
