Removing the rear bumper of the BMW E91 is a very simple task that you can do on your own. We will explain how to do it, also with the help of this short video tutorial. Start by placing wheel chocks at the rear to keep the car elevated off the ground. Remove the taillights as shown in the video, then proceed to unscrew the various bolts that secure the bumper to the car. Once the bolts are removed, you will need to use some leverage and force with your hands to disengage it from the safety clips. Now you can perform any internal work. To install the rear bumper, follow the same procedure you used to remove it.
