Replacing the handle seals yourself is very simple. In today's video, we will show you how to perform this routine maintenance on a 1996 BMW 3 Series in a few easy steps. Start by opening the door where you want to replace the seal, then remove the plastic cap located on the side. Once the cap is removed, using a screwdriver or a long enough wrench, push outward on the top part of the handle. Remove the worn seal and insert the new one. Reassemble the top part of the handle and close the side cap.
