How to Remove the Front Headlight Assembly

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Headlight

To remove the front headlight, first take off the bumper. If the bumper has a washer for the headlight, you must first remove the cover as shown in the images. Next, unscrew the screws under the fender at the back of the bumper on both sides. To make this easier, turn the wheels toward the opposite side of where you are working. At this point, unscrew the screws under the bumper. Lifting the vehicle off the ground will make this task easier. The last screws to remove are located just above the grille near the hood latch. Remove the bumper, disconnecting the fog light wires as well. Referencing the localized images, unscrew all the screws around the headlight. Remove the headlight, disconnecting the electrical connector last. Car model: BMW E90 E92 E93
Required tools: 8mm socket wrench, T30 Torx wrench.
