How to Change the Key Fob Battery for BMW 3 Series

This video shows the procedure for replacing the battery in the key fob of the BMW 3 Series F30. The process is very simple, quick, and does not require any tools. To replace the key fob battery, first press the button located on the back of the key, and with the other hand, pull out the emergency key. After removing the emergency key, use it to pry open the designated space at the bottom of the key to access the battery cover. Once opened, you will have access to the battery. Remove the old battery using the emergency key and insert the new one. After replacing it, simply press down with your fingers to reattach the cover, and then put the emergency key back in its slot.
