How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 325I

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

To reset the service light for the maintenance reminder on a 2002 BMW 3 Series, keep the instrument cluster off and press the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster to access the reset menu for the vehicle light. Insert the key into the ignition and hold the button. Wait for the word "reset" to appear and continue holding. When the word stops flashing, release the button and restart the vehicle. By turning the instrument cluster off and on, you will complete the reset procedure.
