Air filter replacement for the BMW 3 Series.

The maintenance plan for the BMW 3 Series involves periodically replacing the air filter. To do this, we open the hood of the engine compartment, use a 6mm socket wrench to loosen the clamp on the filter intake tube, detach the box from the anti-vibration mounts, and remove the intake tube. Using a screwdriver, we release the four fixing clips, remove the box containing the old filter element from below, replace it with a new filter, ensuring correct installation. Insert the filter box into its housing and secure it with the clips, lubricate the anti-vibration mounts with soap, and reassemble the entire unit, paying attention to the filter holder hooks, reattach the intake tube and tighten its clamp.
