How to Reset the Service Light on BMW 3 Series F30/F31

In this video, you will learn how to reset the service light on the BMW 3 Series F30/F31: with all the doors closed, turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. If you have an automatic transmission, keep your foot off the pedal and press the Start & Stop button.

You will see the display indicate "engine oil". Below the fuel level gauge, there is a small button hidden in a corner. Press and hold it for a moment, and you will see the display show "reset possible". Continue holding, and it will ask "execute reset?" Release and then press and hold again.

Now the display will say "reset in progress". Release when it says "reset successful". Now check the oil level and repeat the entire procedure.
