The procedure to correctly replace the battery in your BMW 7 Series F01 key is practically identical to that used for many other models produced by the same German automaker. Below, you will discover the steps you need to follow.

First, make sure you have a new button battery (model CR2450) and a small flathead screwdriver. Next, take the car remote and press the button located on the back while simultaneously pulling out the emergency key. At this point, remove the back cover and replace the old battery with the new one.
