Installing Snow Chains for Non-Driven Wheels

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E90, E91 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Snow chains

Obtain snow chains suitable for the type of tire installed on your vehicle. Quick-mount snow chains are ideal for situations where you need to put them on and take them off frequently. To install, open the first chain so you can position it on the drive wheel to ensure it adheres to the entire surface. Using the appropriate tool, start tightening it slightly, then move the vehicle so the chain fully adheres to the wheel, and then tighten the chain completely. During your trip, periodically check the tension of the chains.
