How to Remove the Door Handle on a BMW 3 Series

Are you wondering how to remove the door handle on your BMW and don't know how to proceed? Don't worry, let's see together in this guide how to do it. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals. If you can't find it, don't be afraid; in your BMW, it is located in the trunk, not the front like in most cars. Using a Torx T20 screwdriver, remove the inner door handle, being careful not to scratch it. Remove the large clip with a plastic trim tool, then unscrew the screw located in the slot. Once removed, unscrew the one for the inner door release lever as well. Detach the door panel, disconnect the window regulator and speaker connectors. Make sure not to lose any of the clips behind the plastic panel you removed first. Now that you have the door panel in your hands, unscrew the small speakers to detach the door handle.
