Cleaning the MAF sensor of the BMW engine

Model: BMW BMW Various
Part: Checks and maintenance

If the engine of the BMW is having difficulty in delivering power and excessive fuel consumption, the cause may be a dirty MAF sensor that is not communicating well with the ECU. To proceed with its cleaning, we open the engine hood, find the sensor located on the pipe coming out of the air filter. We start by disconnecting the electrical connector using a lever, unscrew the two hexagonal screws that secure the sensor and remove it, place it on a work surface and spray a specific cleaning spray on all its parts. We wait for it to dry and put the sensor back in place, fasten it with the screws and reconnect the connector.

Replacing the Air Conditioning Fuse on Citroen C3

To replace the air conditioning fuse on the C3, locate the fuse position. Use a plastic lever to remove the cover located in the dashboard under the steering wheel (left side), then use pliers to pull out the damaged fuses in the compartment. Once this is done, insert the new fuses into the appropriate slots in the compartment. Finally, close the fuse inspection box with the cover and test for proper operation. You can also find fuses inside the glove compartment on the right side of the dashboard (remove the drawer if necessary).
