Together with the authors of this video, see how to replace the mass air flow sensor in the BMW 3 Series model E46. As shown by the presenter, the first step is to lift and secure the hood to proceed with removing the engine cover. Once the various cover elements are removed, check and, if necessary, replace the air filter before moving on to the actual removal of the mass air flow sensor. In addition to the screws, disconnect the electrical connector. After detaching the mass air flow sensor from its housing, replace it with the new one and reinstall the various removed parts.
