How to Find Your Car's Airbag Module

Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E90, E91 - Years 2005-2013

I will explain how and where to find your car's airbag module. First, use a trim removal tool to take off the entire center console. Start by removing the shift boot, then the shift knob by pulling it upward. Disconnect all connectors present, then remove the entire shift frame. Pry off the other covers, and using a Torx wrench, remove all the screws. Disconnect the stereo switch or entertainment module. After that, lift the console while rocking it back and forth, moving it side to side to fully remove it. You will find the airbag module located between the driver and passenger seats.
