How do you program the key for the BMW X3?

In order to program the key of the BMW X3, you need to insert the blank key into the ignition lock: once this is done, you can connect a scanner to the OBD port of the vehicle. This port will be located on the dashboard just below the steering column: this way you can follow the instructions that will appear on the screen to ensure that the device is coded correctly. After the operation, you can use the remote control buttons and check that the key is working.
