How to Replace the Battery on a Cadillac ATS

To replace the battery on this vehicle model, find useful information on how to proceed in the description below and in the video. On this vehicle model, the battery is located in the trunk on the left side. To access it, remove the upper plastic panel and the side trim panel. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal. Next, remove the support nuts for the hold-down bracket, and at that point, you can extract the battery. Position the new battery, reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally, reattach the hold-down bracket nuts.
