Let's see how to change the license plate bulb on the Cadillac ATS: first, lift the rear hatch for easy access to the license plate lights. You'll need a flathead screwdriver to pry open the small light assembly that houses one of the license plate lights. Once removed, the light assembly comes out easily; by turning the connector half a turn, you can completely detach it. Pulling out the connector will also release the bulb. In this case, you will see it is already an LED. Now, put it back in, give it a half turn, and replace the small light assembly. Press slightly to secure it in place. You can proceed with the one on the left. Job done.
