How to Reset the ECM on Cadillac CTS

In this video tutorial, you will see how to reset the ECM (Engine Control Module) on a Cadillac CTS. To perform the reset, first, get inside the vehicle, engage the parking brake, insert the key, and turn on the ignition. Next, exit the vehicle and leave the door open, then lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod. Open the fuse box located in the engine compartment on the left side. Check the fuse diagram and locate the fuse corresponding to the ECM; according to the diagram, the corresponding fuse will be number 8. Use pliers to remove it, and repeat this process at least three times, with a pause of at least one second between each removal. Reset completed.
