Operation: How to reset the ECM on Cadillac CTS

In this video tutorial we can see how to reset the ECM (Engine control module) on Cadillac CTS; to perform the reset, the first thing to do will be to get on board the car, put the handbrake, insert the key and turn on the instrument panel, then get out of the vehicle and leave the door open, lift the bonnet and put it safely with the appropriate rod. Open the fuse box located in the engine compartment, on the left side; check the fuse diagram and look for the fuse corresponding to the ECM, according to the diagram, the corresponding fuse will be number 8, then take the pliers and remove it, do this operation at least three times, with a break between each at least a second. Reset done.
