To replace the throttle body on a Chevrolet Silverado, open the hood to access the components in the engine bay. At the front of the engine block, locate the intake duct, which needs to be freed from its position by loosening the screws. Once the duct is free, disconnect the connector for the throttle body and loosen the screws that hold it in place.

After completely removing the old component, install the new one by reassembling all the parts you just removed.
