To replace the fuel pump it is necessary to remove the rear part of the car including the body. Once you have identified the pump, start disconnecting the various fuel hoses and electrical cables from the tank positioned under a pan to collect the fuel that flows out. Using a ratchet wrench with extension remove the two fixing bolts. Once the tank has been freed from its stops, remove it and place it on a work surface. Before removing the pump, carefully clean the surrounding surface. Turn the ring nut on the head of the pump by ¼ of a turn and now it is possible to extract the pump from the tank, allowing the fuel to flow into the contents. Replace the pump with a new one following the assembly instructions contained in the package. Before reassembling the pump, carefully clean the tank inlet.
