How to Change the Timing Belt on a Chevrolet Trax

In this video, we will see how to remove and replace the timing belt on a Chevrolet Trax. Lift the car on a column lift (remove the front wheel and use a screwdriver to take off the wheel arch plastics). Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt, remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with a socket wrench. Finally, reattach the rivets with the wheel arch and refit the wheel with the tyre onto the vehicle.
