This guide shows how to reset the engine oil change light on a Chevrolet Silverado Mk3. No special tools are needed to reset the engine oil life light. Simply turn on the ignition and wait for the gauges and multifunction display to initialize. At this point, rotate the knob next to the speedometer until the oil life percentage is displayed. Press and hold the knob for a few seconds to bring up the reset menu for the light. Select the affirmative option by rotating the knob and confirm by pressing it.
