To change the engine oil of a Chevrolet Silverado, access the underside of the engine compartment, where you will find the oil drain plug that needs to be loosened: this will allow all the used oil to flow out, collecting it in a properly positioned container.

After all the oil has drained, you can remove the oil filter, which is also located at the bottom of the engine compartment.

Once the filter has been replaced, open the hood and access the engine compartment to top off through the filler located in the center of the engine, under the windshield.
