In this video tutorial we can see how you can replace the diesel filter on Chevrolet Silverado, following some simple steps: the first thing to do is to buy a new diesel filter. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the special rod. With the help of the fuse diagram we have to look for the fuel pump relay and disconnect it. Once disconnected we have to take a 16 and an American wrench and loosen the nuts that secure the diesel pipe to the diesel filter; place a container to collect the fuel that spills when the filter is removed. Unscrew the two nuts that secure the filter in place; once the filter has been removed we can replace it with the new one. Once the new diesel filter has been fitted, we can reposition the fuel pump relay, previously removed.
