In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the cabin filter on a Chevrolet Captiva by following a few simple steps: the filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or at least once a year. First, purchase a new cabin filter. Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. The cabin filter is located behind the glove compartment, so open the glove compartment and remove all items inside. Remove the fasteners located both under and inside the compartment; once the screws are removed, take out the compartment from its housing. Remove the filter cover and then take out the old filter from its location. Position the new filter according to the arrows on the filter itself.
