How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Chevrolet Silverado?

To reset the Oil Change light on a Chevrolet Silverado, turn the key to the "On" position to activate the instrument cluster. Use the button located to the right of the speedometer to navigate through the menu. Stop at the option that indicates the oil life remaining: at this point, press and release the accelerator pedal four times. Once done, turn the key to the "Off" position to deactivate the instrument cluster; when it is turned back on, you will see that the oil life has returned to 100% and the corresponding light has been reset.
