If you notice that you need to get very close to the vehicle to open the doors and unlock the central locking, the key battery is likely running low. To replace the battery, follow these simple instructions and check out the video as well. First, pull out the emergency key and use a sharp object to pry at the seam to detach the cover from the key body. Under the cover, you will find the compartment containing the battery, which you can remove by prying at the edge. Next, take the new battery and place it in the housing, making sure to maintain the correct polarity. At this point, you can close the cover and reinsert the emergency key.
