Operation: What is the front windshield wiper relay in the Chevrolet Cruze?

If the front windshield wipers of our Chevrolet Cruze have suddenly stopped working and the corresponding fuse is intact, we can check the status of the respective relay whose position is indicated in this video. As shown, the relay in question is located in the box inside the engine compartment, below the black plastic cover next to the battery. It is labeled with the code R5 and is the second-to-last one in the second column, when looking at the box from the front. If it is faulty, make sure to use a replacement with equivalent specifications and to operate with the vehicle turned off.
