What is the Front Wiper Relay in the Chevrolet Cruze?

Model: Chevrolet Cruze MK 1, J300 - Years 2009-2015

If the front wipers on your Chevrolet Cruze have suddenly stopped working and the corresponding fuse is intact, check the status of the respective relay, as indicated in this video. The relay is located in the box inside the engine compartment, beneath the black plastic cover next to the battery. It is labelled R5 and is the second to last in the second column when looking at the box from the front. If faulty, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications and work with the vehicle switched off.
