To reset the Service light on the dashboard of the Chevrolet Cruze, insert the ignition key into the ignition barrel and turn it to switch on the dashboard: once the dashboard is on, press the accelerator pedal five times in quick succession until it reaches the end of its travel.

At this point, turn the key in the ignition barrel again to switch on the dashboard: this will allow you to see that when the dashboard is switched on, the Service light will not illuminate.
