In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the passenger seat in a Chevrolet Equinox, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental airbag deployment.

Start by opening the passenger door, then remove the seatbelt mounting bolt using a T30 Torx wrench. Next, move the seat forward, remove the rear bracket bolts with a T50 Torx wrench, and repeat the process on the front side.

At this point, just disconnect the yellow connector, pull the seat out of the cabin, and install the replacement if needed.
