To improve the audio system performance in the Citroen Berlingo, start by replacing the standard RD4 radio with higher performance models. Sit in the driver's seat and obtain two U-shaped tools to release and extract the radio unit from its housing in the dashboard.

Insert the tools into the four holes on the short sides. Once the radio is out, disconnect the antenna plug on the right side and, using a screwdriver, disconnect the two electrical connectors on the left side.
