Disassembly of the key on Citroen C4

First of all, open the key fob. Remove the ignition key from the device: if the ignition key is inserted in the key fob, remove it. Open the key fob into two parts: you will find a separation line on the side of the key fob. Using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool, gently pry open the key fob into two parts. Replace the battery: once the device is opened, you will have access to the battery. Remove it and replace it with a new one. The correct battery for this key fob is a CR2032 3V battery. Close the key fob: reinsert the two parts of the key fob and press them together until they fit perfectly. Test the key fob.
